Our Mission

More Violins, Less Violence 🎻🕊️

The Trouble Notes was born from a desire to see the world, celebrate its beauty, and tell the stories of the people we meet along the way. We’re a band shaped by different corners of the globe, different traditions, and one shared goal: using music to connect people and lift them up.

But as our music travels, so does our responsibility. We believe art isn’t only here to entertain. It’s also here to protect imagination, dignity, and opportunity, especially for the next generation.

Why we started this campaign

More Violins, Less Violence is our way of turning concerts into something bigger than a moment. Through the sale of our More Violins, Less Violence T-shirt (at shows and online), we fund work that supports children affected by war and violence.

Where the support goes

Starting January 2026, we’ll be working with War Child to raise funds for children affected by war. War Child helps children access protection, education, and psychosocial support, and works to create safer environments where children can begin to feel like children again. warchild.net+2Warchild+2

Our impact so far (2023–2025)

From 2023–2025, together with our community, we raised €10,000 for the SOS Children’s Villages Ukraine Fund. Thank you for proving that small actions, repeated often, can become something loud in the best way.
